Serve  Team  Coordinator

We are seeking an amazing person to serve in this new role. The Serve Team Coordinator helps move people from:  
Interest → Involvement → Ownership → Multiplication  
When people serve, they grow. When leaders recruit, train, and develop, the church multiplies.  

The ServeTeam Coordinator will do this by protecting and strengthening a culture where:  1. New attendees receive a concierge level of hospitality, 2. New volunteers connect quickly, 3. Team leaders are supported, 4. Serving is normal and celebrated, 5. Every leader is thinking about how to recruit, train, and develop others.

Position:  Serve Team Coordinator
Reports to:  Lead Pastor 

• Champion the Culture
  • Keep serving in front of the church.
  • Reinforce that every leader recruits, trains, and develops.  
  • Encourage multiplication, not just maintenance.
• Oversee the 8–24–2–4 Integration Rhythm
  • Ensure that new guests:
    • Receive a welcome text or email within 8 hours of completion of connect card
    • Personalized postcards are mailed within 24 hours.
    • In 2 weeks receive a personal phone call  
    • In 4 weeks are invited to First Look and/or Discovering  
  • Ensure that new prospective serve team and group members:  
    • Receive a thank-you within 8 hours of attending First Look, Discovering, or sharing interest in serving/small groups
    • Receive personal follow-up (email, text, or call) within 24 hours. This will provide information about areas of interest including contact information of leader. Prospective serve team member information will be shared with team leader.  
    • Are scheduled for first serve/group within 2 Sundays of commitment to serve. Follow up with team leaders to ensure this is occurring. Assist where necessary.  
    • Are integrated within 4 weeks as possible  
  • The STC ensures this happens — but does not personally execute every step. STC is a liaison between team leaders and prospective new team members to assure people are successfully taking their next step in following Jesus.  
• Support Team Leaders
  • Stay connected with ministry leaders.  
  • Help identify where teams need to recruit, train, or develop.  
  • Encourage collaboration and healthy communication.
• Celebrate & Encourage
  • Help coordinate quarterly Serve Team gatherings.  
  • Celebrate wins and milestones.  
  • Help volunteers feel valued and connected.
